Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve which is located in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra. It is amalgamation of Andhari wild life sanctuary and Tadoba National park. It is 140 kilometers away from Nagpur. It is one of the oldest and largest Tiger reserves of the state. The Andhari River flows across the sanctuary. Tadoba Lake is one more important water recourse.
These dense deciduous forests are rich in biodiversity, Flour and Fauna. The area has large variety of trees and plants like teak, bamboos, bija, Dauda, and forest houses grasslands in between. The view around the lush green forest is enjoyable.
The winter season will pleasant here which is between November to February. It is ideal time to visit. During summer the temperature rises above 45 degree. This season is good for animal safari, so it is also best time to visit. The area receive massive rainfall in Monsoon.
When it comes to Tiger reserve, the main attraction will be Jungle Safari. In the last census it has been noted that there are 40+ tigers exists in this protected area.

Tadoba Lake is ideal place for watching birds and to spend time in relaxation. The lake gives shelter to numerous species of birds like bird verities such as Indian Pitta, Peafowl, Woodpecker, stone curlew. The calm atmosphere and scenic beauty of the forest around the lake is mesmerizing.
